White Topps is a small family run guest house ideally situated 450 yards from a mostly sandy beach where dogs are welcome all year. There are lovely long walks available on Hengistbury Head which is within easy walking distance, plus Christchurch and the New Forest are nearby.
Our property was built in 1911 as a childrens holiday home and has been offering holiday accommodation for over 50 years. We have five bedrooms, four doubles and one twin - all can be let as singles with no single supplement. Four rooms are on the first floor with toilets and bathroom directly opposite and one is on the ground floor, ideally suited for disabled dogs or those who just don't like climbing stairs. Regrettably this room is not suitable for disabled guests as there are no downstairs facilities.
There are two adjoining lounges, a bar*lounge with an impressive bar which probably came off a private yacht, colour tv with Freeview etc., and a further lounge which faces south and has a small 'fridge for guests use. Next door is the dining room, also south facing, and decorated with lots of 'doggy' items (as is the rest of the guest house!) This is he domain of Algenon, a big pottery Alsation, and his family.
*the bar is stocked with soft drinks only, you are welcome to bring your own alcohol.
A full English breakfast is normally served from 9am to 9.30am - should you require an earlier or later time please ask and we will to our very best to oblige.
Dinners are available, by prior arrangement, as a cost of £15 per person for a three course set menu plus coffee. There are a number of restaurants, cafes and fast-food establishment close by should you prefer more choice
Vegetarians are more than welcome and we only use free-range eggs.
We have a car park at the rear of the property and there is space for three cars on the front for everyone for easr parking.
We are pleased to offer free Wi-Fi access to our guests.
